Holy Cross Week Celebrations

As we begin our celebrations of Holy Cross Week, join us next Saturday at Holy Family Church for our Holy Cross Parish retreat day.
You are welcome to attend the whole day or just part of the day but do dedicate some of the day to this retreat as a way to unite yourself more closely with the Holy Cross of Our Lord and to celebrate our parish’s feast.

The day will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Holy Mass which will be followed by the first of two talks. At midday we will pray the Angelus and then have a BBQ lunch. After lunch, at 1:00 p.m., there will be the second of the talks and this will be followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. At 2:00 p.m. the Sacrament of Penance will be offered for those who would like to make their confession.
We are asking for people to volunteer to help serve lunch. If you can help with this, please let Fr. Andrew know.

Join us, also, through the week for our celebrations in honour of the Holy Cross, with Mass on Thursday, 14 September for the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and Stations of the Cross on Friday, 15 September.
