Solemnity of the Assumption – 15th August 2022

On Monday, August 2022, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. There will be 3 Masses said that day across the parish.

Holy Mass will be offered at the following times:

Holy Trinity Church, Granville:
8:15am

Holy Family Church, East Granville:
9:15am (with students from Holy Family Primary)
6:00pm (followed by Candlelight Procession of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Mackillop Hall) 

The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a Holy Day of Obligation, meaning that all Catholic are obligated to attend Mass that day as a duty to almighty God in veneration of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Code of Canon Law, n. 1247),
